Invited by artist Anthea Hamilton for the group show The Lobby, at Ibid Projects, London, 2008. Checkmate…, 2008, is a remake of Seven Stadiums…, 2005, first shown at the RCA Interim Show 2005.

They were referencing texts, e.g. The Solar Anus (G. Bataille), on mental disorder connected with self-mutilation, such as the myth of Orestes, and sources of light most eminently the sun. They were paired respectively with photographs and drawings.
